LEGO The Lord of the Rings Gets Polybags

Two new polybag sets, 30211 Uruk Hai with Ballista and 30210 Frodo with Cooking Corner will be joining the LEGO The Lord of the Rings lineup. The Uruk Hai with Ballista polybag is a army builders dream come true, unfortunately, the same is not quite true for Frodo with Cooking Corner, unless you want to build an army of Frodos. No word yet on availability.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings to Get Video Game

Following in the footsteps of other LEGO themes that have had video games developed based on their likeness,The LEGO Lord of the Rings franchise will be getting its own title as well. Developed by TT games, LEGO The Lord of the Rings The Video Game will be coming out this October for the Nintendo Wii, the Nintendo 3DS, the XBOX 360, the PS Vita and the PlayStation 3.

Checking off The Lord of the Rings Minifigures…One by One

Undoubtedly, the best part of the upcoming LEGO The Lord of the Rings theme may be the minifigures, and there are plenty of them to be had. Checklists featuring all of The Lord of the Rings minifigures will be on the back of the instruction booklets of the sets in the lineup. This should make collecting the minifigures a little more hassle free, but unfortunately, as expensive as ever.

New box art for the new The Lord of the Rings theme has appeared on Lord of the Brick. The theme is set to launch alongside the move, The Hobbit,in the Summer of 2012. More LEGO LOTR Figures Unveiled

A brand new set of LEGO The Lord of the Rings minifigures has been unveiled, showcasing previously unseen figures of characters such as Uruk-hai, Gollum, Ringwraith, Moria Orc, and the Mordor Orc. The release of the the LEGO LOTR lineup is only a few months away with the first sets due out this summer.

Preliminary LEGO Lord of the Ring Set Pictures Leaked

Photos of the LEGO sets that will be part of the new Lord of the Rings lineup to be released next summer have been leaked on to the internet, just a handful of days after the announcement of the theme.
