The latest Collectible Minifigure Series from LEGO is slated to be released later this year in September. While the specifics of Series 8 lineup have yet to become available, it will very likely feature a pirate captain figure as pictured above.

Checking off The Lord of the Rings Minifigures…One by One

Undoubtedly, the best part of the upcoming LEGO The Lord of the Rings theme may be the minifigures, and there are plenty of them to be had. Checklists featuring all of The Lord of the Rings minifigures will be on the back of the instruction booklets of the sets in the lineup. This should make collecting the minifigures a little more hassle free, but unfortunately, as expensive as ever.

Monster Fighters Fight Monsters

New pictures of the upcoming LEGO Monster Fighters theme have recently leaked onto the internet showcasing a variety of sets that are slated to be part of the new theme. According to Brickipedia, the theme is set to be released this June. The theme, while new, is reminiscent of the Studio theme that came out in the early 2000s. Monster Fighters also features figures similar to those released  recently in the Collectible Minifigure Series.
