It seems that Super Heroes are now forming alliances with the food industry. Batman now has his own burger and Orange Juice now has its own Avenger. Pictured above is the Batman burger that is now available at McDonalds locations in Hong Kong. The sandwich in addition to the usual beef patties and cheese, also features an egg. While featuring no obvious association with Batman himself, the Batman burger serves as a promotional tool for McDonalds Hong Kong, who also plans on releasing menu items based on other Justice League superheroes as well. Batman is certainly a larger than life character and suitably Medicom Toy will be producing a BE@RBRICK 400% Dark Knight Rises version of the figure. The figure stands nearly a foot tall and is based upon the Batman character seen in the popular motion picture, The Dark Knight Rises. The average BE@RBRICK stands about 3 inches tall but the 400% editions are 4 times the size and are more than 11 inches tall. The figure will be priced at ￥7,140 or about $80 and will be available this May.

While two new LEGO Super Heroes sets were already announced at this years New York Comic Con, images of two new sets have appeared on a Swiss retailers website. The two new sets include LEGO Super Heroes Marvel – 76004 Spider-Man – Spider-Cycle Chase (pictured above) and LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe – 76000 Batman vs. Mr Freeze – Aquaman on Ice (seen below).
Thus far, all four new LEGO Super Heroes releases for 2013 feature either Batman or Spider-Man. But, 2013 will see movie releases based on other DC Universe and Marvel properties so sets based on different characters are likely .

New sets based on Marvel’s Spider-Man and the DC Universe’s Batman will be some of the latest additions to LEGO Super Heroes line. Priced at $49.99, Marvel Super Heroes 476 piece Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Showdown set features minifigures of Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Jonah Jameson, Nova and Beetle.
LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe is slated to serve up the The Bat v. Bane: Tumbler chase set that includes minifigures of Batman, Bane and Commissioner Gordon. The set features 368 pieces and will be priced at $39.99.
The DC Universe’s Batman:Arkham Asylum Breakout, will be joining the LEGO Super Heroes lineup this upcoming January. The set is slated to be a LEGO Retail and Online store exclusive and is priced at $159.99. Featuring 1619 pieces and 8 minifigures, including: Batman , Robin, The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Scarecrow and a Guard.
Arkham Asylum Breakout bears a strong resemblance to the Arkham Asylum set released back in 2006 as part of the standalone Batman theme. Perhaps the main difference between the two sets though, is, the new Arkham Asylum Breakout set has nearly twice as many pieces as the old Arkham Asylum set.
Dorling Kindersley’s new LEGO Batman Visual Dictionary will be offering readers more than just a picturesque journey through the brick built world of the Dark Knight, it will feature an exclusive minifigure as well. The exclusive minifigure, an Electro Suit Batman, will be available with the 96 page dictionary, which is slated to come out this September.

A 1/6th scale Batman, nothing out of the ordinary. A 1/6th scale Batmobile from Hot Toys that runs 39 inches long? Well, that might stick out just a bit. Based on the Batmobile from Tim Burton’s 1989 film Batman, this monstrosity of a vehicle features working headlights, pop-up machine guns and most impressively, a sliding cockpit. With a price tag of $629.99, the Batmobile will be available in May, 2013 and can be pre-ordered from Sideshow Collectibles website.
