SDCC 2013 To Get Exclusive Angry Birds Star Wars Action Figure Set

A set of 12 exclusive Angry Birds Star Wars figure will be offered for sale at this years San Diego Comic Con. Figures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Sand People, Imperial Navy Commander and a Jawa will all be included in the set, with each Star War’s character taking the form of either a pig (the villians) or a bird (the heroes). Featuring the iconic Kenner blister card packaging, the set will be available from July 18th to the 21st at the 44th San Diego Comic Con in San Diego, California, for $24.99.

First Picture of Star Wars 75024 HH-87 Starhopper LEGO Set Appears

A picture of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars set, the 75024 HH-87 Starhopper, has appeared online. Featuring three minifigures; Obi-Wan Kenobi, Cad Bane and a Nikto Guard, the HH-87 Starhopper is startfighter used by the criminal underworld in the Star Wars universe. The Starhopper’s known operators are the Hutt crime family as well as the Zygerrians. Slated for release in August, the set will be priced at €39.99.

LEGOWorld Copenhagen Sees The Unveiling Of New UCS X-wing

Unveiled at LEGOWorld Copenhagen, The Red Five X-wing Starfighter will be the latest set to join the Ultimate Collector Series Star Wars line when it comes out later this year in May. The set consists of 1,558 pieces and is more than 10 inches high, 20 inches long and 18 inches wide. In addition, the set also comes with a figure of R2-D2 and features an opening cockpit and wings. Priced at $199.99, the set is a very similar to the UCS X-wing fighter released back in 2000.

Two New 2013 LEGO Star Wars Set Pictures Revealed

New pictures of the yet to be released LEGO Star Wars sets; the 75019 LEGO Star Wars AT-TE (pictured below) and the 75018 LEGO Star Wars Jek-14′s Stealth Starfighter (pictured above) have now appeared thanks to flickr member motayan.

The Stealth Starfighter includes figures of JEK-14, a Separatist Bounty Hunter, a Special Forces Clone trooper, and RG-G0. The AT-TE set includes figures of Mace Windu, Coleman Trebor, a Clone Trooper Commander, a Battle Droid and a Battle Droid Commander. This will be the third version of AT-TE produced for the LEGO Star Wars theme, with the first one being the Episode II Version, released in 2003, and the second one being The Clone Wars version which was released back in 2008.

Gentle Giant To Release Jumbo Vintage Star Wars Action Figure

Living up to its company name, Gentle Giant will be releasing a “giant” action figure based on a vintage Star Wars Bossk figure made by Kenner. Standing a foot tall, roughly 4 times the size of the average Star Wars figure, the giant Bossk features articulation and an accessory blaster much like the original 3.75 inch tall Kenner version. Now available for pre-order, the Gentle Giant Jumbo Bossk Figure Kenner Figure will be priced at $80.00 and will be available in third quarter of 2013.
