10 Foot Tall LEGO Lord Vampyre Rises In New Orleans

LEGO Master Builders and fans recently came together at an event to build a 10 foot tall model of Lord Vampyre, the leading character from the LEGO Monster Fighters line. Starting September 29th and going into the wee hours of September 30th, the model of Monster Fighters villain slowly rose at the event held at the Washington Artillery Park Amphitheater in New Orleans. It was the first all night building event held by LEGO and featured not only the build itself but, a costume contest, building activities and a performance from the New Orleans Saintsations as well. Build Your Very Own Haunted House

Coming in as the  largest and most detailed set in the Monster Fighters lineup, the Haunted House will feature three floors and six minifigures. Slated for a September release, the Haunted House will carry a hefty price tag of $179.99.

Monster Fighters Fight Monsters

New pictures of the upcoming LEGO Monster Fighters theme have recently leaked onto the internet showcasing a variety of sets that are slated to be part of the new theme. According to Brickipedia, the theme is set to be released this June. The theme, while new, is reminiscent of the Studio theme that came out in the early 2000s. Monster Fighters also features figures similar to those released  recently in the Collectible Minifigure Series.
