Mr. Potato Head Is More Than Just a Spud

Mr Potato Head Marvel Superhero Wolverine-Thor-Iron Man Mr. Potato Head is now a Superhero! Thanks to PPW Toys new line of Mr. Potato Head’s inspired Marvel Superheroes, that will feature the likes of Wolverine, Thor and Iron Man. Each figure comes complete with accessories exclusive to each character; Wolverine has his signature claws, Thor his Mjölnir, and Iron man has his repulsors. The Mr. Potato Head Marvel Superhero line will likely be on display at the at the New York Toy Fair 2013, which is slated to run from February 10th to the 13th.

LEGO War Machine Minifigure Makes Its Debut

LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES AVENGERS MINIFIGURE WAR MACHINE IRON MAN 3

A LEGO figure of the yet to be released War Machine has appeared for sale on eBay. War Machine, a codename for Lt. Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, is very similar to the existing Iron Man figure, namely due to the fact that figures of both Marvel characters share the same helmet mold. The figure is slated for release later in the year as part of an upcoming assortment of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets.

New Additions To The LEGO Super Heroes 2013 Lineup

While two new LEGO Super Heroes sets were already announced at this years New York Comic Con, images of two new sets have appeared on a Swiss retailers website. The two new sets include LEGO Super Heroes Marvel – 76004 Spider-Man – Spider-Cycle Chase (pictured above) and LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe – 76000 Batman vs. Mr Freeze – Aquaman on Ice (seen below).

Thus far, all four new LEGO Super Heroes releases for 2013 feature either Batman or Spider-Man. But, 2013 will see movie releases based on other DC Universe and Marvel properties so sets based on different characters are likely .

New LEGO Super Heroes Sets Showcased At NYCC 2012

New sets based on Marvel’s Spider-Man and the DC Universe’s Batman will be some of the latest additions to LEGO Super Heroes line. Priced at $49.99, Marvel Super Heroes 476 piece Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Showdown set features minifigures of Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Jonah Jameson, Nova and Beetle.

LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe is slated to serve up the The Bat v. Bane: Tumbler chase set that includes minifigures of Batman, Bane and Commissioner Gordon. The set features 368 pieces and will be priced at $39.99.

70s Superhero Gets LEGO Minifigure

Best known for taking part in the 70s live action TV show Shazam!, Captain Marvel will be the latest character to join the LEGO Superheroes lineup. Shazam! will soon be available on DVD, and to promote its release, the Captain Marvel minifigure will be given away exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 12th to the 15th.
