KRE-O Star Trek Line Now Available

The new KRE-O Star Trek line is now available in stores, and just in time, coinciding with the release of the second Star Trek movie: Star Trek Into Darkness, in theaters. The new KRE-O Star Trek line features sets ranging in price from $4.99 for a mini ship model to $49.99 for the U.S.S Enterprise with five Kreon figures. Directed by J.J Abrams, Star Trek Into Darkness is the nearly $200 million follow up to the hit 2009 film, Star Trek, which was based on the works of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. 2013 LEGO City Advent Calendar Revealed

The Holiday Season may still be months away but the 2013 LEGO City Advent Calendar has already been unveiled. As usual, the Calendar consists of a wide variety of gifts, of which there are 24. A dalmatian, a miniature train, a grill, an astronaut, and of course, Santa Claus himself will all be featured in the set. More details on the set, such as price, piece count and release will likely be available as we approach the time prior to the start of the holiday season.

UN Headquarters To Get Its Own LEGO Architecture Set

The iconic United Nations Headquarters Building in New York City will soon be getting its own LEGO Architecture set. Featuring more than 597 pieces, the set will join the company of other LEGO Architecture structures such as Sydney Opera House and Big Ben. Standing 509 feet tall, the United Nations Headquarters Building was completed in 1952 and sits on 17 acres of land next to the East River in the New York City borough of Manhattan.

New Jedi Defender-class Cruiser LEGO Set Pictures Unveiled

Images of a new 927 piece LEGO set of the Jedi Defender-class Cruiser have surfaced online. Inspired by the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG, the set includes figures of a Sith Warrior, Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular and a Sith Trooper. Based on the sets piece count, the 75025 Jedi Defender-class Cruiser will likely cost around $100. Expect to see the set released sometime later this year.

Standing more than two feet tall and made out of 2359 pieces, the Tower of Orthanc will be available starting this July.

One LEGO Set To Rule Them All

LEGO has unveiled their grandest LEGO Lord Of The Rings set yet, the 28 inch tall 10237 Tower of Orthanc. Made out of 2359 pieces, the set comes with a Great Eagle, figures of Saruman, Grima Wormtongue, Gandalf the Grey, an Uruk-hai and the Orc Pitmaster, as well as a 9 inch tall buildable Ent. In addition, the six story tall structure also includes a palantir that glows with the use of a LEGO light brick.

Slated for release this July, the set will be priced at $199.99.

Two New LEGO City Sets Unveiled

Two new LEGO City sets will be released this summer, in addition to the numerous sets already announced at the New York Toy Fair earlier this year. The new sets are the 60015 Coast Guard Plane (pictured above) and 60026 Town Square (pictured below). Both sets are slated to be released this August.

Iron Man 3 Movie Posters Get a LEGO Makeover

LEGO has rebuilt the movie posters for Iron Man 3, in anticipation of the movies release in theaters on May 3rd, 2013. The movie, which features a $200 million budget, once again stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark.

Additionally, a string of new LEGO sets based on the Iron Man 3 movie are also slated for release while LEGO stores will be offering up a promotional LEGO Iron Man polybag with a qualifying purchase.

LEGO Superman Stars in New Black Zero Escape Set

Pictures of a new LEGO Superheroes DC Universe set, Superman: Black Zero Escape, featuring the Man of Steel, have surfaced. The set includes figures of Superman, Lois Lane and General Zod and is based on the aptly titled Superman flick, Man of Steel, which is due out on June 14th, 2013.

Alongside 168 pieces and three minifigures, the set will also include a comic book. Priced at $19.99, the Superman: Black Zero Escape set will be available starting this August.
