Rollys Royce Jet Engine at the Farnborough International Airshow made out of LEGO bricks

While not quite made to be mounted on an Airbus or Boeing jet, the LEGO brick built Rolls-Royce 1000 jet engine still impressed at the 2012 Farnborough International Airshow in Hampshire, England. Made out of more than 150,000 LEGO bricks, and with a length of 6.5 feet, the replica of the engine used on the Boeing 787 was produced to promote the field of engineering to youth.
