Hayabusa LEGO CUUSOO Model Soars into Stores
The second LEGO CUUSOO set, Hayabusa - 21101, has just been released in Japan and will be available from shop.LEGO.com later this year. The Hayabusa attracted more than 1,000 supporters on LEGO CUUSOO Japan, giving it the support required by LEGO for review and eventual development and commercialization of a project idea. In contrast to the Japanese version, the global version of LEGO CUUSOO requires at least 10,000 supporters in order for a project to have a chance to be reviewed by LEGO and possibly turned into a set. The Hayabusa (“falcon” in English) was a spacecraft developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). The set is now available for ¥ 4,118 in Japan and will cost $49 in the United States.
